Everyone's so obsessed with abs and fitness and clean eating now. Seriously, this is becoming some sort of fab, with pictures of girls in their sports bras showing progress pictures and whatnot.

Like really, is the sole purpose of your existence to get a thigh gap and abs? DO YOU REALLY NEED ALL THIS EXCESSIVE DIETING AND EXERCISE. PLEASE JUST BE HONEST AND SAY I WANNA BE HOT STUFF INSTEAD OF GIVING PEOPLE BS LIKE I LOVE MY BODY I WANNA BE HEALTHY.

Lies. LIES EVERYWHERE.

And the thing is, you don't need to tell EVERYONE about it. At first it was kinda motivating (well never to me but maybe to others) but now it's just downright annoying. Everyone's trying to make a scene and ugh it just annoys the crap out of me when I see another girl posting up "health" pictures or "progress" pictures.

Hallo can you just like do it quietly. The whole world doesn't need to know that you only ate chicken breast egg white and salad for dinner. Btw that's an unbalanced diet cause there aren't any carbs in there.

Don't give me bullshit about how you don't need carbs either. I know because I've tried cutting down almost all my carbs and I look like some idiotic stick figure with muscle loss. Wanna gain back also gain in all the wrong places.

So bohoo to no carbs.

Oh, and its super duper demoralizing for girls who aren't comfortable with their own bodies. Unhealthy obsessions with your body always start when you're uncomfortable in your own skin. You're seriously hurting someone else's body image whether you're conscious of it or not.

So just stop all this obsessive figure (currently disguised as health) obsession and be happy, fit, play sports and eat in moderation.

And no, I'm not dissing you for trying to be your version of healthy. I'm just saying that you need not show it off to the entire world because you're not doing anyone any favors because all you're doing is asking another girl somewhere, feel like crap. And maybe garner the attention of horny teenage/middle age males who would gladly slurp up pictures of you in your sports bra and running tights.

PEACE.
