Six days to temporary freedom. :)

I have taken a difficult stand. I have chosen not to take tips in any form voluntarily for trials. I have chosen to stay up studying things that I need not study, concentrate on things that will never appear on my test paper and seen the strings of A's being waved around at my face without actually being able to realistically achieve it anymore.

Honestly I almost gave in during history last week. I was so torn between achieving good results and honoring the true purpose of this exam. But i didn't, and though I had to shoot an entire essay question, at least I got a taste of what a real exam would be like.

I swear this week will be even harder. Paper 3 tips will be so incredibly difficult to resist this time. Nevertheless, I'll try.

And if you're wondering why I'm so adamant on not taking tips, it's because the purpose of trials is to test yourself, not a last ditch effort to score a string of a's you don't deserve. Colleges aren't even using those results anymore, so I don't see any reason why I should cheat.

But that's my view, so you can ignore it if you see fit.

Besides that, there's been this gigantic fan terrorizing me during exams. It doesn't oscillate as it should, and it's constantly aiming its wind at ME. Blowing my test papers halfway across the hall and flipping my IC over the table multiple times isn't even half of what it's been doing. I am constantly in fear of ripping pages of my pages when I flip them.

And the worst thing is, the teachers keep turning the bloody thing back on.

On a not so whiny note, I can't wait to be able to change my mangled pair of sport shoes. Abused, and dirty as hell, my faithful pair of shoes have gone to places with me, won a couple of medals and accompanied me jogging for the past 2 years. It's about time for it to retire, seeing that the grip is non-existent, and there are holes everywhere.

Mum and dad are paying half for my next pair of shoes so I think I can get a slightly more expensive pair this time :) I live in my sport shoes anyways, so id rather spend money on this than some stupid clothes I'll wear a few times.

Wokeh, back to studying bio.
