This year's campus run was definitely more fun and exciting than last year's. The addition of 5 more teams to each category really made the event a much bigger thing this year, compared to last year's pilot campus run. More than 30 people in my class took part this year so it's sufficient to say that my class was an empty shell that entire day. So proud of all my classmates for being so proactive :')

This year, my team consisted of Michelle, Shen nee, sabrina, Ashley, Tricia and myself. I have to say, every one of my team mates did an amazing job, with Michelle providing the initial lead, Shen nee keeping up the lead, Sabrina edging away consistently at all the people who went too fast in the beginning and pancit-ed at the field part :p, Ashley speeding like a bullet and Tricia who gave me a splendid lead when it was my turn to take the baton.

Honestly, it was harder than I thought it would have been. I honestly thought that no matter how many times they made us zig zag on the field, the distance would not be more than 1 km. how wrong I was -_- anyways, we got a gold medal, and honestly all the credit I've been given should be redirected towards my team mates because they're the real heroes. I just maintained their lead (heck i almost lost it) and crossed the finish line for them :)

SO PROUD OF MY TEAM. Some hope for the gold medal drought that yellow house has been having for years :p

For the rest of the day, I was screaming GOOOOOO *insert name of friend* like a mad woman with all my mad friends. All worth it.

Now im at home, with my nose leaking like a faucet, nursing my aching muscles back to normal.

It was all worth itttt :) first ever gold medal in my last year of high school :p
