i think people who don't play sports or participate in anything in a group for an extended period of time INCOMPLETE human beings. who cares if you finish your homework everyday. who cares if you get all the A's in the world. you still don't know how to move around and get along with the people aroud you when the situation gets stressful.


playing sports can be very piss-fying. you get pissed at your team mates. you get pissed at yourself. you get pissed at the referee. you learn to move on and continue from this without breaking down. you learn to tolerate other people's faults, and instead encourage them to play better.


i find that missing in the nerd community.


nerding is a lonely thing. only you, can nerd for yourself. there is no tolerating anything. you're sitting in front of a book forcing things into your head. there's no team spirit in that anywhere. heck, nerding cultivates an unhealthy personality where you're most probably unable to socialise in big crowds. why? BECAUSE YOU'RE MOSTLY ALONE.


and the great part about sports. you win as a team. you have people to celebrate with. the people who you've worked with for ages. the people who've progressed, gotten yelled at and trained together. ahh, team spirit (:

people cannot cannot cannot expect me to diligently do my homework every single day with the number of activities/ EXTRA responsibilities i have. NO WAY NO WAY. im no robot who can get home at 7, shower and straight away do my homework. people who think otherwise, maybe you should try staying in school for 12 hours and come home sweaty and burned out and attempt to do homework. I'D LIKE TO SEE YOU TRY, SUCKER.
