maybe i lost that spark of interest of the violin because i was lost in all the songs i couldn't relate too. i realise i want to play songs that i know by heart, songs that don't need me to sit for hours at the piano to figure out the rhythm. i want to play songs that flow into my head and don't require me to stop and think every 5 notes.

and i come back to the root problem. I ABSOLUTELY DETEST SIGHT READING. I HATE FIGURING OUT THE RHYTHM BY MYSELF. i have an inclination towards beautiful sounds. maybe that's why pictures, i don't love as much as pretty piano/violin covers of songs. (:
